President Kim Sciallo

Kim is the Global Process Owner of Credit Risk Management for John Wiley & Sons, Inc. She is a graduate of University College – Rutgers New Brunswick with a  Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Labor Studies.  Kim also serves as the Chair of the University College–Rutgers New Brunswick Alumni Association.  She has held various Alumni leadership roles, including a term as RUAA Board Member, Corporate Secretary of the RUAA, past Chair of the Alumni Leaders Council Committee, and member of the Beta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Kim has worked on  many UCRNBAA and RUAA committees and planned various RUAA events, such as Homecoming, Reunion, and the Run for RAH (Rutgers Against Hunger).

Vice President Dr. William DeFabiis

Dr. William DeFabiis earned his Doctorate in Education at Rutgers University. He teaches as a Part Time Lecturer for the Graduate School of Education and is an active member of the Graduate School of Education Alumni Association, serving as the Treasurer of that organization. Recently, Bill was elected as a faculty Senator on the University Senate representing New Brunswick Part Time Lecturers. Professionally, he has served for twenty-five years as a Superintendent of Schools.

Treasurer Kevin Freeman

As a Piscataway resident, Kevin is keenly aware of the history and importance of Rutgers University to the community and to the state. Kevin has been a member of the Rutgers Club for 3 years and joined the board as a Member at Large, before accepting his new role as Treasurer. Kevin is a former executive with American Express, having recently retired after a long and successful 31 year career with the organization. In his retirement, Kevin is now a very active Realtor in the community and serves on several boards focused on advancing the quality of high school athletics and officiating.

Secretary Liz Marquez

Liz is a longtime friend and supporter of Rutgers University. She joined the Board as co-chair of the Special Events Committee in 2019 and was instrumental in bringing online events to members throughout the pandemic. As an award-winning New Jersey teacher and staunch supporter of public education, Liz mentored GSE student interns and provided professional development to NJ teachers through our mathematics department. She is the author of books on mathematics education and, while at Educational Testing Service, she developed Board certification for mathematics teachers and led research on mathematics education within historically underrepresented populations. Liz lives in Milltown where she serves on the Planning and Zoning Board.

Immediate Past President James Condon

Jim is a licensed attorney who now devotes his time to volunteerism and advocacy. Jim has worked for RTI International as a Governance Advisor embedded in a U.S. combat brigade in Baghdad, Iraq. Prior to that, Jim worked as an employment law attorney, a Deputy Township Attorney for Old Bridge, a lobbyist for the New Jersey State Bar Association, and was a part time lecturer at Rutgers University. Today he is a certified volunteer for the NJ Sharing Network, an organization focused on saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University – New Brunswick and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School – Camden.
